I work in the field of experimental nuclear physics and nuclear astrophysics. In my phd thesis I studied properties as level densities and gamma-strength functions of several different elements.

The first chapter of my phd thesis gives a short overview of some important developments in both nuclear physics and nuclear astrophysics.
